My name is Jenny Marshall. I just graduated UC Santa Barbara with a degree in Language, Culture and Society (that’s one major, not three), which is a subset of Linguistics. Like most humans I enjoy sunny days, good company and burritos. I try to make my writing less generic than my name. I wrote my first blog when I was living and studying abroad in Granada, Spain. Now that I'm finished up with college, I'll be moving back to Spain (this time to the north) to teach English. This blog will document my experience there, this time as a member of the working world, and will continue to focus on language and culture (got to put my major to use somehow!).
